Mocha French Toast Bake

This indulgent and decadent French toast bake is perfect for a lazy weekend brunch! Made with espresso powder and rich chocolate, this bake is loaded with flavor and is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 2 tube of flaky biscuit dough
  • 3 of egg
  • ½ cup of milk120 mL of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon of instant coffee
  • 2 bar of chocolate bars
  • 0 of cooking spray
  • 0 tablespoon of whipped cream
  • 375 g of chocolate syrup1 ¼ cup of chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
  2. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and place in a large bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and instant coffee until well-blended.
  4. Pour the liquid mixture over the biscuits and stir to coat.
  5. Spoon half of the biscuit and liquid mixture into a greased 9-inch (22 cm) square baking dish.
  6. Place the chocolate bars on top and cover with the remaining half of the biscuit mixture.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are no longer doughy on the inside and there is no more liquid.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes and serve with a dollop of whipped cream and drizzle of chocolate syrup.
  9. Enjoy!
